In Project: ELITE, players are members of the ELITE squad on a mission to stop the invading forces of an alien empire. Stopping the invasion requires players to speedily roll dice as they take part in real-time, two-minute combat rounds against waves of terrifying enemies. Once the ELITE members take their turn, the aliens react. The game continues in this fast-yet-tactical series of rounds until the scenario is won or the aliens take the Earth.

One of the most exciting Board games you can have the pleasure of playing. The real time element makes for a really intense and memorable experience. Each round can be very chaotic... but then as soon as the timer stops, players get a chance to re-group and talk strategy. Gameplay is not too long for the size of the box, can finish a game in 60minutes relatively easily. Main criticism is its a chore to setup and tear down due to amount of components. Great fun, even for people that aren't usually into this kind of theme. 9/10
